    Description

    2026 Beta 300 RR Race 2-Stroke

Beta is announcing the arrival of the new 2026 RR Race models a little early for the season. This is an early rollout compared to the traditional October launch, which usually marks the arrival of the best-performing bikes from the Tuscan company, reflecting its constant commitment to innovation and attention to detail, to offer increasingly advanced and performance-based models to riders of all abilities. RR Race models represent the race versions of Beta's Enduro models, characterized by a series of modifications to the engine, suspension, frame, and equipment, making the bikes ideal for giving their best performance on the track - always in the sign of RideAbility.

In line with the recent innovations introduced on the 2026 RR X-PRO range - widely appreciated by amateurs and experienced users alike - the engine of the new RR Race 250 2-Stroke has been completely redesigned in search of a greater amount of torque and a broader power delivery at all speeds, to be enjoyed by all riders in any riding conditions.

    What has changed specifically:

Crankshaft and cylinder: now shared with the 300 model. The stroke was reduced compared to the past (from 72 mm to 69.9 mm), and consequently, the bore was increased (from 66 mm to 67.4 mm) to maintain a full 250 cc. The cylinder’s transfer port geometry was redesigned and now houses a new dedicated piston.
New cylinder head: combustion chamber has been entirely redesigned to create the ideal operating conditions with the new engine geometry, while still using the double spark plug.

The Twin Plug cylinder head (both on 250 and 300) brings numerous benefits:

It offers a better distribution of spark ignition inside the combustion chamber, which improves overall power delivery while reducing unburned gases.
The engine's range of use is further extended, as both greater torque and more power are available.
The two spark plugs are managed with a separate electrical system. This means that, if one of the spark plugs should burn out, the engine will still be able to run, although with less efficiency, allowing the race or off-road session to be completed.

With these updates, the torque and linear power delivery were significantly increased, without affecting the overall performance, and also improving the motorcycle’s handling, with centralized weight and lowered center of gravity. The crankcase houses larger and stronger main bearings for both the 250 and 300 engines.

Gearbox: The 250 and 300 have a longer range second gear to improve the range of power in most sections. This update has improved the overall use while in second and third gear for most woods riding.

The tried and tested suspension package and the special components of Beta's race-ready version are confirmed:

48 mm Kayaba (KYB) AOS close cartridge fork: anodized internal parts and the treatments administered to the materials minimize sliding friction, while adjustable compression and rebound damping let each rider find the perfect customization of the setting.
Kayaba (KYB) 46mm Shock: the KYB Monoshock can be considered a benchmark in the racing context for its capacity to absorb the roughness of the terrain, the level of traction transferred to the rear wheel, and the consistency of performance, even in particularly heavy use. The hydraulic setting can be fully customized by adjusting the external compression (both high and low speed) and rebound settings.
Front axle: immediately recognizable by the red anodized alloy release lever, this component is crucial for saving precious seconds in a race when you need to change a tire.
Reinforced handguards: the handguards feature a two-component material mold, and not only give the bike a racing look but also make them especially hard-wearing in even the roughest off-road use.
Machined alloy footpegs: to ensure maximum control at all times and no loss of contact with the bike, the footpegs have interchangeable steel pins; these are narrower than in the past to facilitate movement of feet, but better in terms of grip.
Rear sprocket with anodized aluminum core and steel teeth by ZF SPROCKETS: top-class performance, lightness, and strength - the perfect mix of all the attributes any racing component must have.
Dedicated race seat: with non-slip upholstery and document holder pocket for unparalleled grip, comfort, and practicality.
Racing graphics: to never go unnoticed on the race field.
Anodized black gear lever and rear brake pedal.
Gearbox oil filler cap are anodized red aluminum.
Chain tensioners in red machined alloy.
