2026 Honda NT1100 DCT
Sport Touring Made for the Long Way
The 2026 Honda NT1100 DCT brings together the best parts of a sport bike and a long-distance touring motorcycle in one versatile package. Powered by Honda's proven 1084cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin and equipped with Honda's six-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), the NT1100 DCT makes everything from the daily commute to a weekend trip across North Carolina more enjoyable.
And because this is the DCT version, you can let the motorcycle handle the shifting automatically or take control yourself with the handlebar-mounted paddle shifters.
Built for North Carolina Backroads
The NT1100 DCT is right at home on the kind of roads that make riding in North Carolina worthwhile. Its upright riding position, sport-touring chassis and adjustable windscreen make it equally comfortable carving through the Sandhills, exploring backroads around Central NC or settling into a longer highway ride.
With a 5.4-gallon fuel tank, 32.3-inch seat height and 547-pound curb weight, the NT1100 DCT is designed to cover serious miles without turning every ride into an endurance test.
Whether you're headed toward the mountains, riding the backroads around Uwharrie, or simply taking the long way home from Sanford, this is a motorcycle built around enjoying the journey.
1084cc Honda Parallel-Twin
At the heart of the NT1100 is Honda's 1084cc liquid-cooled Unicam parallel-twin. The engine uses a 92.0mm bore, 81.5mm stroke, 10.5:1 compression ratio and four valves per cylinder. Honda designed the engine to deliver a broad, usable powerband for sport touring, with strong torque available throughout the rev range.
The 46mm throttle body and programmed fuel injection provide precise fueling, while the parallel-twin configuration keeps the engine relatively narrow for a motorcycle intended to be comfortable and agile.
Honda DCT: Automatic When You Want It
One of the biggest reasons to choose the NT1100 DCT is Honda's six-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission.
DCT gives you the choice of:
Fully automatic shifting
Manual shifting with paddle controls
Six forward speeds
Steel gears designed for durability and direct power transfer
That makes the NT1100 DCT particularly appealing for riders who want to spend more time enjoying the road and less time thinking about clutch and shift-lever work.
It's just as useful in stop-and-go traffic as it is on a long highway ride.
Sport-Touring Suspension
The NT1100 DCT isn't simply a touring bike. Honda built it with handling in mind.
Up front is a 43mm inverted Showa SFF-BP fork with 5.9 inches of travel, while the rear uses a Pro-Link Showa single shock with another 5.9 inches of travel.
The result is a chassis designed to remain composed when the road gets twisty while still providing the suspension travel and comfort expected from a serious sport-tourer.
Strong, Confident Braking
The NT1100 DCT features:
Dual 310mm front discs
Radial-mounted four-piston front calipers
256mm rear disc
ABS braking system
120/70-17 front tire
180/55-17 rear tire
That combination gives the NT1100 the braking hardware to match its sport-touring mission.
Adjustable Wind Protection
Long-distance comfort starts with controlling the wind.
The NT1100's five-position adjustable windscreen provides 6.5 inches of adjustment, allowing the rider to raise it for increased wind protection on the highway or lower it to increase airflow when temperatures climb.
That's a feature you'll appreciate on those long North Carolina rides where the weather can change considerably over the course of a day.
Technology for the Ride
The NT1100 DCT also brings modern touring technology without making the motorcycle unnecessarily complicated.
Standard features include:
6.5-inch TFT instrument display
Apple CarPlay™ compatibility
Android Auto™ compatibility
Wireless Bluetooth® connectivity for audio with compatible headsets
Cruise control
Five riding modes
Automatic DCT transmission
Paddle-shifter manual control
Honda designed the technology around making the ride easier and more enjoyable rather than distracting from it.
Ready for a Weekend Away
The NT1100 is also designed with touring flexibility in mind. Honda offers detachable accessory saddlebags, allowing riders to configure the bike for everything from an afternoon ride to a multi-day trip.
That makes the NT1100 DCT an excellent choice for riders who want one motorcycle capable of handling weekday transportation, weekend escapes and longer touring adventures.
Keep It Ready to Ride
A sport-touring motorcycle deserves regular maintenance, especially if you're putting serious miles on it.
Our Honda Suzuki of Sanford Parts and Service Departments can help keep your NT1100 DCT ready for the next trip, from oil and filter service to brake inspections, tires, chain maintenance and other routine maintenance needs.
If you're planning longer rides, proper tire condition, chain adjustment and fluid maintenance are especially important.
