️ 2027 Suzuki GSX-R600
Supersport Performance. Race-Bred Handling. Street-Legal Fun.
The 2027 Suzuki GSX-R600 carries forward one of the most recognizable names in sportbike history. Built from decades of Suzuki racing development, the GSX-R600 combines a compact 599cc inline-four engine, lightweight aluminum chassis, sophisticated Showa suspension, Brembo front brakes, and aerodynamic GSX-R bodywork into a motorcycle that's equally at home on a Sunday backroad ride or a track day.
For 2027, the GSX-R600 is available in Candy Daring Red and Metallic Matte Black No. 2, giving this legendary middleweight supersport an unmistakable presence.
599cc Inline-Four Performance
At the heart of the GSX-R600 is Suzuki's 599cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-cylinder engine.
This is a motorcycle designed to reward riders who enjoy winding out an engine and feeling the power build as the tach climbs.
Engine Highlights
599cc four-cylinder engine
Liquid-cooled
DOHC
Electronic fuel injection with Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV)
12.9:1 compression ratio
Electric starter
Four-into-one stainless-steel exhaust
Titanium muffler with Suzuki Exhaust Tuning (SET) valve
Race-proven back-torque-limiting clutch
Close-ratio six-speed transmission
Chain final drive
The back-torque-limiting clutch helps smooth aggressive downshifts and corner entry, while the close-ratio six-speed transmission is designed for precise shifting and strong acceleration.
Built From Suzuki's Racing DNA
The GSX-R600 isn't simply styled to look like a racebike.
Its twin-spar aluminum frame, aerodynamic bodywork, adjustable suspension, and powerful Brembo front brakes are all designed around the demands of performance riding.
The Showa Big Piston Front Fork (BPF) is adjustable, while the rear Showa shock features adjustable rebound and compression damping along with adjustable ride height.
That gives riders the ability to dial the bike in for their riding style, whether they're enjoying North Carolina's winding roads or setting up for a track day.
Brembo Brakes & Serious Chassis Hardware
When you're riding a sportbike, going fast is only part of the equation. Being able to control that speed is just as important.
The GSX-R600 features:
310mm fully floating front discs
Radial-mount four-piston Brembo Monobloc calipers
Nissin rear brake
Showa Big Piston Front Fork
Adjustable rear shock
Twin-spar aluminum frame
120/70ZR17 front tire
180/55ZR17 rear tire
The result is a package designed for precise steering, confident braking, and predictable handling.
️ Built for North Carolina Roads
The GSX-R600 is a particularly exciting motorcycle for riders who enjoy North Carolina's backroads.
Take the long way out of Sanford. Head toward the winding roads around the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Sandhills, find a stretch of pavement with some curves, and enjoy what a lightweight 600cc supersport is designed to do.
For riders who want to take the GSX-R to the track, its adjustable suspension, S-DMS engine maps, programmable shift light, and built-in lap timer make it even more appealing as a track-day platform.
Please remember: public roads are for enjoying responsibly and within posted speed limits; save the GSX-R's full performance potential for a closed course.
️ Suzuki Drive Mode Selector
The Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) gives the rider push-button access to two racing-developed engine control maps.
That allows you to select a setting suited to road or track conditions and your personal riding preferences.
The GSX-R600's compact instrument cluster also includes:
Analog tachometer
LCD speedometer
Gear position indicator
Coolant temperature/oil pressure information
Clock
Dual trip meters
Reserve trip meter
S-DMS information
Programmable shift light
Built-in lap timer/stopwatch
️ A True GSX-R Riding Position
Suzuki designed the GSX-R600's ergonomics around performance riding while still maintaining street-bike usability.
The bike features:
Three-way adjustable footpegs
Adjustable shift lever
Short fuel-tank length
Passenger seat
Optional color-matched solo tail cowl
The result is a cockpit that allows the rider to move around the motorcycle when riding aggressively while remaining comfortable enough for street riding.
